Planning: Principle photography: stars and costumes (Rhea & I)

On the 2nd of October, Rhea and I took the stars into a local park and took some photographs of them before we started filming. Trying out different angles, framing, facial expressions and costumes really helped us see what we want to create in our music video regarding the overall look, the colour schemes and the acting we want the stars to achieve.
From this collage I learned the dominant colours which are mainly primary, creating a great focal point for the audience to concentrate on.
I feel like creating this board also helped us see what type of dynamic poses would work really well in our music video, and what type of shots, or filters wouldn't work. For example, the shots of Emily with her hair blowing in the wind create a very emotional shot, and the red being in contrast with the green can suggest the internal conflict in her. I feel like these undertones in our photography make the shots not only aesthetically appealing, but also very meaningful regarding the representations that we want to touch upon in our music video.
